Thomas Schnabel worked ten years for the forest industry in Austria. He studied Wood Technology and Wood Management at the Holztechnikum Kuchl and Wood Science at the Technical University of Munich. Since 2004 he is working for the department “Forest Products Technology & Timber Con-struction” at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. His research topics are wood technology and innovative products developed from natural raw materials.
